What is mechanism sand?

Mechanism sand, also known as manufactured sand or M-sand, is an alternative to natural river sand used primarily in construction. It is produced by crushing hard granite or other rocks, ensuring that the resulting particles are of a specific size and shape suitable for concrete and other construction applications. This type of sand is often favored because it is more uniform in quality and can reduce the dependency on river sand, which is depleting. Additionally, mechanism sand can help improve the strength and durability of the structures in which it is used.
