What is an iron ore wet plant?

An iron ore wet plant is a facility where the raw iron ore undergoes a series of processes to remove impurities and improve the concentrate purity before it is further processed or smelted. The term "wet" refers to the use of water or other liquids in the beneficiation and treatment processes. These steps may include washing, screening, gravity separation, magnetic separation, and flotation to separate valuable minerals from the waste rock or gangue.

The goal is to increase the iron content of the ore and to prepare it for further metallurgical processing. Wet plants are a crucial part of the iron ore production chain, ensuring higher efficiency and better quality of the final product.
